Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is a state-government controlled centralised test for admission to many private and governmental medical, engineering & management institutions in Odisha. The test is taken after the 12th grade, diploma, graduate degree, post-graduate degree for admission to graduation of lateral entry in B.Tech, lateral entry in B.Arch, B.Pharm, BDS, MBA, MCA, PDCM, PGDM, M.Pharm, and M.Tech courses. MBBS and B.Tech courses have been removed from OJEE after the announcement of All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and JEE (Main).

The exam is taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in class 12 level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Presently it is being conducted only for engineering colleges due to the announcement of an ALL INDIA COMMON MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAM (NEET). Earlier there used to be two separate tests for medical colleges and engineering colleges, the difference being that the medical test has the Biology paper while the engineering test has the Mathematics paper.

The students of Odisha who aspires to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields can appear in OJEE. The applications for OJEE is invited by the JEE Cell of Odisha. JEE Cell is conducted the examination and also cover the other events of Odisha JEE.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear at OJEE except for BHMS and BAMS candidates who are seeking for admission must be at least 17 years of age. And also for Lateral Entry into Second Year of B.Tech (Marine Engineering) Programme, the candidate should be less than 22 years of age.

Candidates should visit www.jeemain.nic.in for online registration for the entrance.

OJEE 2019 is scheduled tentatively for May 13, 2019. It enables the candidates to seek admissions in various undergraduate and post graduate level courses. The candidates have to register themselves by selecting the correct form type among Form A, Form B, Form C, Form D, Form E and Form F.

The undergraduate courses in OJEE 2019 are BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, B.Tech and B.Arch. The post graduate level courses are MBA, MCA and M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan/M.Pharm. The lateral entry courses offered are LE Tech, LE Pharm, LE MCA and B.Sc. LE.

The candidates have to enter the course codes and the name of the course in the OJEE Application Form. Candidates have to pay the application fee as per the form type chosen. Application fee for Form A-D and Form F is INR 1000. For OJEE Application Form Type E, candidates have to pay INR 1500.
