As the name suggests, a general manager is a person who is responsible for taking care of both the revenue and cost elements of the profit or loss statement. The PSUs that might offer general manager post are National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Odisha Mining Corporation OMC, State Trading Corporation of India, National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, BSNL, IFCI Ltd, Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), etc. Number of vacancies varies from time to time.
