COVID – 19, a pandemic spread, disrupted whole world, making people ill and die. It is the latest virus said Novel Corona Virus or COVID – 19, not like Cholera, Ebola, SARS, Chikungunya, HIV or Influenza. Only remedy is maintaining social distance. Stay home, stay safe is the buzz word. Our country prevents like anything to contain it through series of Lock downs 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0…., shut downs and containment.
We faced closure from road to air and water. Police acted seriously to contain through social distancing and with hard measure. Doctors, nurses and medical staff acted like God to save lives against their sacrifice. Proper sanitization and using mask were compulsory for every human in the earth. Schools, Colleges, training centres and all educational institutions closed. Shops closed, factory closed, Offices closed, companies’ shutdown, market crashed. Our social, political and economic development in turmoil.
People are jobless. Workers and employees are returning back to village from other districts, states and countries in horrible way. Some are dying while walking a great distance without food. They need to stay home and to stay safe with own family. Oh! God. Save us. Keeping a new hope, we Indians need a transformation. We need job and prosperity for all. Digitalisation of the entire country is the need of the hour. We have to connect our people, place and space. We have to be committed. Our prime minister Narendra Modi rightly said, ‘Sankalpa se Sidhi’. Going remote can be fast, efficient and secure. Welcome the strategy for New India @75.
At this juncture, going digital must replace human to human interaction. By adapting to an online, automation will help minimize efforts, maximise productivity and accelerate revenue. SIFI, besides training at its’ centre now going online. Candidates can register for certificate course in microfinance from 01.06.2020, can learn digitally and appear quiz tests like other courses in our portal www.syft.in. After completion of course and securing minimum 50% of marks in examination candidates will be called for interview and internship. Certificates will be issued to successful candidates and SIFI to support for employment in MFIs/Small Banks working in Odisha.
