OPSC ASO Recruitment 2018

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the notification of OPSC ASO Recruitment 2018 on September 20, 2018, at opsc.gov.in. The Commission is conducting the OPSC ASO Recruitment 2018 for filling 500 vacancies for the post of Assistant Selection Officer (ASO) in OPSC. The Application process has been started from October 10, 2018. The last date to submit online application is November 09, 2018. But application fee can be submitted by November 11, 2018. The selection process of the ASO contains the written examination and Skill test, where the skill test is qualifying in nature. The written examination is scheduled for December 23, 2018. Eligibility Criteria of OPSC ASO Recruitment 2018

The candidates who want to participate in the recruitment should meet the eligibility criteria norms set by the Commission.

Nationality: An Indian national is eligible to apply.

Age Limit: The candidates who are under the age bar of 21 to 32 years, are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have completed the graduation in any discipline can apply.

Knowledge of Odia Language: The candidates must have studied Odia in Middle school or in 10th or till 08th.

Application Form of OPSC ASO Recruitment 2018

After verifying the eligibility criteria the candidates can apply for the recruitment. The application form has been released on the official website of OPSC i. e. www.opsc.gov.in. The candidates have to fill the form online apart from that no other mode is introduced for the same. The candidates have to submit a certain amount as application fee for completing the application form.

Application Fee

OPSC has decided Rs. 300/- as application/Examination fee for ASO Recruitment.

The application fee is NIL for the candidates belonging to SC/ST and PWD (only candidates of Odisha).

Note: The application fee is Non-refundable.

Examination Scheme of OPSC ASO Recruitment 2018

Scheme of Written Examination

Mode of Examination: Offline pen/ paper based

Nature of examination: Objective type

Language of paper: Bilingual except for language paper

Marking Scheme: 01 for the correct answer, – 0.25 for incorrect

Scheme of Skill Test

Nature of examination is qualifying, no mark will be awarded in the exam.

The duration of the exam is 01 hour.

The paper is of a practical type, Candidates have to solve the question based on computer application
