Mathematics is considered as one of the best subject than with any other academic subject.
The way to learn mathematics is to watch it, work it, and deliver it.
1, 2, 3……………and go.
1. Careful learning, dedicated notes and practice factor.
While learning certain concept, topic or lesson one must be careful, you have to
learn, understand and grasp. When reading a chapter write key points on a note,
copy tricks how to solve and see noting must be helpful for future reference.
2. Understanding the lesson.
When one face difficulty to learn mathematics by watching it, one need to practise it
again and again mindfully. Then need to work on it separate. The key to understand
mathematics is to involve oneself actively. By being active one engage both sides of
the brain. See the problems carefully and compute the solution completely.
3. Homework.
Finish homework if you have it and practice extra questions of the subject. A good
habit of doing homework daily is a test practice for you. It’s like rehearsal for a test.
You must refer your notes and your textbook while doing your homework. You can
ask your tutor or teacher for assistance if you face any problem.
4. Always clear your doubts asking your tutor or teacher.
Before you move to the next chapter you must clear your understanding tit by bit for
first chapter. If doubt remain unsolved it will make you down on your potential grade
as for not knowing detail about your material. Always check in with your tutor or
teacher if you have been checking your answers. A teacher is always your best
master for help.
5. Look for patterns & connections.
After you have done mathematics for a while, you will begin to see patterns and
connections that you cannot experience as an observer. By getting involved in the
problem, you get to see and feel how problems are solved. The answer to all
problems, be it mathematics or otherwise lies within the problem itself. Finally, after
you have learned a skill, it is extremely effective to pass it on. When you teach, you
verbalize the connections you made while practicing. By teaching you have to
understand the problem so that you can correctly explain it and work through it in
order to arrive at the correct answer.
6. Study.
When you have extra time, search for mathematics problems online or run through
extra problems in the textbook. Look over notes and textbook pages whenever
possible. Make sure you thoroughly understand how to solve a problem and check
your answer. If you don’t, ask your teacher.
7. Teach other pupils.
You can learn a skill in mathematics by watching a good teacher do and explain one
thousand problems or you could learn the same skill by doing one hundred practice
problems, but the most effective method is to learn the same skill by teaching only
ten problems. So, look for classmates who are having trouble with the lesson. Give
them extra problems and show them how to complete them to lock in your own skills.
8. Join study groups and mathematics clubs.
Study groups will give you a chance to merge ideas and concepts with a group of
peers. You will be able to teach and learn from each other. Mathematics clubs will
help you exercise your ability to learn and perform.
9. Be diligent.
The night before, look over your notes one final time and go to bed early and relax.
Wake up earlier than usual so you can prepare and take a delicious, healthy
breakfast. Take a long drink of water and do some jumping jacks or run in place.
Stay energized throughout the day by carrying a bottle of water and taking it
frequent. Before the test, visualize achieving a high score on the test and smile.
